Orange, Yellow & Red ATC's

Here are another three ATC's done for another swap. The colourway was Orange, Yellow and Red.

I selected a number of background papers in line with the colours and then cut three ATC's from yellow card to start.

The top ATC was first stamped with a Funstamps Scribble Flower (F-F64) using Brilliance pearlescent poppy. Then I tore a piece of orange paper and coloured the torn edge with orange Whispers Dye Ink direct to paper. This torn piece was stuck onto the bottom of the card and trimmed to fit. A stamp from ARTSpecially for you was then inked with satin red Versafine and overstamped on this orange strip. A 'journey' magnetic sentiment stamp from Making Memories was then stamped onto some background paper with Versafine satin red and this was trimmed and edged with warm red Colorbox chalk ink before sticking onto the ATC. Finally two blobs of Glossy Accents were added to the centres of the stamped flowers and the whole ATC edged with warm red Colobox chalk ink to finish.

Bottom left ATC was stamped with Versamark and an image from the foliate quad cube background stamp from Stampendous (TC51). This was heat embossed with some peach opal UTEE from Once Upon A Stamp. A piece of dark red paper was cut to a square and heat embossed with Versamark and Ranger lemon yellow EP. This was matted onto some orange paper and the matt stuck in place. The whole ATC was edged with warm red Colorbox chalk Ink to finish.

Bottom right ATC was first stamped with an anonymous swirl stamp with Whispers orange dye ink and overlaid with two matts of coloured background paper. The inner matt was first heat embossed with Versafine and maroon EP using a Dovecraft floral heart stamp (DCRS96). A silver square brad was coated twice with the same maroon EP and heated to melt and this was applied as shown. The magnetic 'Cherish' sentiment was inked with Stazon black cherry and stamped as shown. The whole ATC was edged with warm red Colorbox chalk ink to finish.

That's it.........hope you like them :)

  1. I absolutely love these 3 cards. Yellow is my favorite color with red and blue. I really think it is great the way you explain the whole process so people can try. I only have 2 stampers so far, star, and rose, LOL., so i can't try much. I sure hope to build up a collection because i just LOVE ATC's. Great work. HUGS
